Known as Jupiter to the Romans, Zeus is the king of the Greek gods, and ruler of their home upon Mount Olympus, and is traditionally heralded as the father of Gods and men. As a reward, he was given the thunderbolt, which he used to overthrow his Father and the other Titans, casting them into the underworld of Tartarus, and become King of the Gods. Known in Greece as Dionysus, Bacchus is the Roman god of the wine, revelry, and in some cases freedom. In Rome the frenzy he induced as central to his cult, which became somewhat infamous for great wine-soaked feasts and orgies. The wine he offered, along with the music and euphoria that came with it, was said to help free one from fear and care, with those who took part in its mysteries, and those of Bacchus himself, were said to be possessed and empowered by Bacchus himself. SKU MPAZ SC219 Centaur   Viewed in a duality that matches their form, Centaurs are often considered to possess an untamed nature, embodying the thunder and beauty of a wild herd of horses, leaving them prone to drinking, carousing and even violence, they are also often depicted as wise teachers, like Chiron who was renowned for his knowledge and skill with medicine and was said to have tutored many of the Heroes of Greek Legend.

This statue seems to embody the wild nature of the Centaur, though wisdom and intelligence can still be seen within his marvelously detailed facial features, contorted in rage as they are. With the lower body of a horse, he rears back, kicking with his hooves as, with the upper body of a man, he brandishes his wide shield and prepares to slash out with his sword.

Made of cold-cast resin, this statue has been painstakingly crafted so as to appear to be created out of bronze, and so that every detail is captured, from the hair upon the Centaur`s chest to the flying hair of his horse-tail. SKU MPAZ SD544 Dionysus - The Greek god of Wine and plenty, Dionysus is often viewed as a deity of hedonism and ecstasy, he was also quite popular among the Romans, who knew him as Bacchus. He was also the patron deity of agriculture and theater, and was known as well to be a god capable of liberating one from your normals elf, by either madness, ecstasy or wine. With these attributes, it was also his divine mission to bring an end to worry and care. Understandably, Dionysus is a God who came to be quite favored, helping ease the burdens of worry in those whom he favors.

Here he is shown as he is traditionally spoken of; a beautiful man, with feminine facial features and luxurious hair, robed in the Greek fashion. Entwined with his curly hair, grape vines adorn him like jewelry, even as he raises them to his lip. In his other hand he drags an amphora, heedless of the wine it spills to the ground by his feet; for Dionysus, there is always another jug of wine. All of this is sculpted beautifully of cold cast resin with painful attention to detail, showing the contour of his form and every fold in his robe, all cast in a fashion so as to look and feel as though it is made of bronze, making it the perfect piece for your altar.

SKU MPAZ SO280 Odin bust

   The chief Norse god and ruler of Asgard, Odin is depicted here in this fantastic bust. Known as a patron of wisdom, war, poetry, magic and the hunt, he is displayed here as he is often portrayed; a one-eyed god of aged wisdom and valor.

Head and shoulders are shown here, with his cloak swept back over the shoulders and concealing the plates of his armor. From beneath his horned helm, his beard and hair flow out, braided in the Norse fashion to rest upon his chest, but not concealing the firm set of his jaw and the stern line of his eyes, one of which is covered with a patch. All of this is displayed with fantastic detail, with wonderful attention paid to the ornamentation displayed upon his helm and patch.

SKU MPAZ ST008 Tyr Shackling Fenrir

   Recreating a scene of legend and bravery within Norse, this sculpture depicts the epic legend of the brave Norse god Tyr aiding in the shackling of the legendary Fenrir.

Fenrir, the child of Loki, was said to be a great wolf of fierce anger and cunning. He was foretold to be the one who would kill the god Odin during the events of Ragnarok, and otherwise sew great trouble and turmoil throughout the world. For this reason, the Gods bound him in shackles but try as they might the beast broke every chain they put upon him. The dwarves finally came then and created an unbreakable magic ribbon called Gleipnir, which could not be broken but Fenrir could not be tricked into being bound.

At last the brave god of single combat, glory and victory stepped forward and stilled Fenrir, with his hand placed within the wolf`s mouth. So lulled, the wolf was bound with the Gleipnir, and the Gods rejoiced, but in a fit of anger Fenrir bit off Tyr`s hand, and forever after he was known as the one-handed god.

This statue beautifully portrays this scene straight out of Norse mythology. Sculpted of cold-cast resin, the whole is created in amazing detail, with the stern lines of Tyr`s face accented by the hammer marks on his helm displaying an equal brilliance as the shaggy coat of the fierce Fenrir. Further, the whole possesses a metallic sheen that gives the impression that the whole statue has been cast in bronze. Thor, the well known Norse god of thunder and lightning, is  often renowned for his strength and fierce eyes, and  celebrated as a protector of humanity. Wielding the hammer  Mjollnir, which was said to be capable of crushing  mountains, which he alone could use with the aid of the iron  gloves Jarngreipr, he was known to have relentlessly struck  down his foes, chief among them the giants, and perhaps most  epically for his struggles with the world serpent,  Jormungandr.
Fully capturing this fierce aspect of, this cold cast resin  bust presents the head and shoulders of Thor, with a single  arm rising up to cross his chest, its hand gripping the  fabled hammer Mjolnir. With his eyes blazing and his mouth  open in a war cry, he is shown with the braids of a Viking,  and a wearing a winged helm atop his brow.

SL452 Loki Bust  $44.95 
Known as the trickster, Loki is the Norse God known for  sewing discord, chaos, and mahem with his actions. He is the  father of Hel, the wolf Fenrir, and the world serpent,  Jormungandr, as well as Nari and the eight-legged horse  Sleipnir. Though it should not be forgotten that he  sometimes aided the gods at times, Loki is far more  remembered for the problems he caused them, particularly his  role in causing the death of Baldr, after which he was bound  in the entrails of his own son and left beneath the dripping  venom of a serpent as punishment.
Within this bust he is portrayed as a fierce figure, with  broad shoulders and a stern, strong jaw revealed beneath a  skull-shaped helm. The helm is further accented with  ram-like horns, culminating to give him an ominous presence,  while the chaos wheel that serves as a broach for his mantle  speaks of the discord that he sews.
The bust measures 10" tall and 8 1/2" wide, and has been  sculpted of cold cast resin.
SH428 Heimdall statue : $57.95 
Possessing keen eyes, keen ears, and the gift of foresight,  Heimdall is the Norse God whom was charged with guarding the  rainbow bridge, Bifrost, which offers the only passage from  Midgard into the realm of Asgard. There, Heimdall also kept  watch for the coming of Ragnarok, or the end of the world,  upon which he would blow his great horn Gjallarhorn, whose  note would alert the Gods to the end of times, where he and  Loki were fated to slay each other.
Here Heimdall is shown with the great hron Gjallarhorn  raised to his lips, blowing the note that will announce the  coming of Ragnarok. Armoured as a Viking warrior and  standing upon the Bifrost, the rainbow bridge (which also  coils around him, he is shown hefting a great axe, and  standing ready to protect the bridge from the world of men  to the world of the gods with all of the ferocity for which  the Norse gods are known.
Standing 10" tall and 6" wide, the statue of Heimdall has  been sculpted of cold cast resin and hand painted so as to  lend the impression that it has been sculpted of copper or  bronze. Place it on your altar or within your home to seek  the wisdom of Heimdall or his vigilance.
